completed the course, Algorithms in Bioinformatics, given by Lukas Käll for the National Graduate School in Medical Bioinformatics (MedBioInfo). Students learn to apply fundamental algorithm design methodologies such as dynamic programming and clustering to problems in computational biology and bioinformatics. Students completed a one-week assignment prior to the residential portion. The course then met in Solna, Sweden, 23-27 October 2017. Afterwards students completed a final project requiring over one week of work. We advise home universities to issue 5HP for this.
