Foundations is our most basic training offering for civil rights investigators, Title IX Coordinators, and Deputy Coordinators looking to acquire the fundamental skills necessary to conduct investigations of sexual misconduct in schools. This training meets the required training mandates under the 2020 Title IX regulations for participants, whether you are a full-time investigator or have investigation responsibilities on top of other duties.
No one likes to think of themselves as needing basic training, but given the new requirements under the 2020 Title IX regulations, everyone needs to be sure you are resting on a solid foundation. Attend this training if you are either an inexperienced investigator, have not been trained before, or want to solidify your fundamentals. You’ll walk away from this training with an understanding of the legal underpinnings of Title IX, the requirements under the new Title IX regulations, as well as practical skills and tools you will need to be a professional civil rights investigator.
This training allows participants to engage with ATIXA experts and other K-12 colleagues to hone your skills in an interactive training environment through the use of case studies and questioning exercises.
