ISA Career Readiness Course

The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) defines Career Readiness as "the attainment and demonstration of requisite competencies that broadly prepare college graduates for a successful transition into the workplace." The 8 core competencies are Critical Thinking/Problem Solving, Oral/Written Communications, Teamwork/Collaboration, Digital Technology, Leadership, Professionalism/Work Ethic, Career Management, and Global/Intercultural Fluency. The ISA Internships experience aims to help students develop these competencies through an online career readiness course taken throughout the duration of their internship abroad. In order for students to earn the Career Readiness badge, they must complete a number of assignments related to each competency. Completion of this course signifies that the student displays traits of career readiness and would be a valuable asset to an organization.
