Mendota YMCA

Member of Mendota YMCA had to go through many weeks of learning about HTML & CSS. Each week they were assigned different courses through Treehouse so they can build on their skills week after week. These courses include: Introduction to HTML and CSS, HTML Basics, Practice Semantic HTML, Practice Structuring and Grouping Content, Practice File Paths, CSS Basics, and Practice CSS Selectors Below is a more detailed breakdown of what each student learned in the courses. -Define HTML and CSS -Add and change HTML tags -Modify CSS attributes -Learn the structural foundation of web pages and applications -Semantic markup -Formatting page content -Understanding file paths -Displaying images -Inline vs. block-level elements -Practice the fundamentals of structuring and grouping content with markup -Sharpen your HTML skills by practicing writing file paths for images and links -Getting Started With CSS -Basic Selectors -Understanding Values and Units -Fundamental Concepts -Practice basic CSS selectors by targeting and styling elements of a web page
