Fall 2022 CITL Faculty Book Club—What Inclusive Instructors Do. In order to earn a participation badge, book club members must: • Regularly attend book club meetings • Share insights on readings with colleagues • Make connections to teaching practice • Understand why inclusion is critical in higher education • Summarize general knowledge and principles inclusive instructors abide by when teaching their students • Describe multiple methods and strategies of inclusive teaching • Apply tools to foster an inclusive learning environment and promote a culture of inclusive teaching
