2021 GSV Cup Finalist - Second Place

This year's GSV Cup finalists represent the top pre-seed and seed stage EdTech startups across Pre-K to Gray. Finalists were selected from a global applicant pool of 700+ startups after being evaluated by a vanguard of 150 leading global venture capital firms as well as strategic partners in digital learning and skills. The review process was designed around the "Five P's" framework: people, product, potential, predictability, and purpose. The top 3 startups took to the stage at ASU GSV for a final round of pitches Wednesday, August 11th. Ello, a first-of-its-kind AI reading coach that works with real books, was represented by Founder and CEO Tom Sayer and won Second Place in the 2021 GSV Cup.
