AVID students receive intentional support and mentoring in three major areas that help them become confident individuals who can successfully navigate life and careers: Student Agency (SA), Rigorous Academic Preparedness (AP), and Opportunity Knowledge (OK). The AVID Elective Graduate digital badge is awarded to students who graduated from the AVID Elective. This badge represents the rigorous academic work that students completed through the AVID Elective class. It comprises the knowledge, skills, and aspirations that they have acquired, including the soft skills needed to be successful in their postsecondary schoolwork and in the workforce.
