Lloyd's Maritime Academy: Diploma in Ship Superintendency

Earners of the Diploma in Ship Superintendency badge have gained deeper knowledge into the role of a ship superintendent and the technical elements of vessel performance. They know and demonstrated the knowledge needed to undertake the role of a superintendent. The candidates can emergency plan, follow the maritime codes and conventions and apply special knowledge of ship types. This course has been officially recognised as contributing to the Continuing Professional Development requirements of members of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST).
