Manager Leadership Experience

Verify link utilized for public verification only. Credential is valid upon receipt. The Manager Leadership Experience (MLE) is a required 3-day course for all SSC manager level associates. The programs embrace the Lowe’s University ‘leader as teacher’ model, providing SSC leaders with an interactive and engaging experience. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the core capabilities needed to effectively lead the business, lead self and lead others. This experience will provide Lowe’s leaders the skills and confidence they need to be successful in delivering results and managing high-performing teams. Upon completion of Manager Leadership Experience or Director Leadership Experience, leaders will be able to: • Champion Lowe’s mission by using business acumen to drive business initiatives, identify performance gaps, and exemplify the core behaviors to achieve results. • Engage their teams and effectively empower their associates by articulating “the why” and creating a dynamic work environment. • Develop their teams and demonstrate transparent leadership through setting goals and expectations, coaching, and managing performance.
