AFP certification equips financial industry practitioners with a wide range of core competencies in financial planning that caters to their everyday professional needs. To certify as an AFP professional in HK and Macau, Candidates must 1. complete the AFP certification education program at an IFPHK Approved Education Provider; 2. achieve a passing grade on the CFP certification examination (Foundation Level); 3. possess 1 year of qualified work experience; and 4. commit to abide by a strict code of professional conduct. To maintain the AFP certification, AFP professionals must 1. complete annual re-certification requirements, including but not limited to completing 15 hours of continuing education.
