This course required students to understand key concepts of Data Science (non-technical) as applied in industry. Data collection and management were implemented using spreadsheet applications and OpenRefine; the data spectrum and usage rights were applied to designated data sets; and visualisations were generated using applications including Tableau, CartoDB, Dataseed and D3.
Together these provide the foundations of a career in Data Science (non-technical).
