Playing with Rhythm, Energy and Presence in Supervision

Playing with Rhythm, Energy and Presence in Supervision This session is an invitation to play and explore with rhythm, energy and presence in supervision. Sometimes we assume relational presence means adopting a certain posture, a poise of stillness, quietness. That can be very powerful and there is great wisdom in accessing the silence, stillness, spaciousness behind the noise. Yet, watch two people playing table tennis and you also find an intuitive relational presence, one that is dynamic, changing pace and in which there is also stillness. The truth is, we never actually leave relational presence, it’s our attention that can miss the mark. In the session we will playfully explore relational presence in relation to shifting the rhythm and energy of supervision. What might more energetic moments of supervision offer in holding all that is showing up? How might we shift energy and rhythm and become more dynamic in our relational presence. As an experiential inquiry, let’s see what we can find out together. Host: Will Medd Will is a CSA Faculty Member, Supervisor, Coach and Meditation teacher. He's increasingly curious about how we are open to the different qualities and possibilities that can emerge in supervision (and life).
