Gain an understanding of the Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843).
Understand and define some common data protection definitions and terminologies.
List and explain the data protection principles and how to apply them in your organisation
Identify the rights of the data subject and the processes to put in place the meet the requirement of the law
Gain the knowledge and skills to undertake the role of a Data Protection Supervisor/Officer
Be able to undertake Gap Analysis/Compliance Assessments & DPIAs Gain a basic awareness of cyber security and how it relates to Data Protection.
Familiarity with basic data protection laws
