Catalyst Full Stack Development Bootcamp

This certificate recognizes those who have successfully completed Covalence's full-time Full Stack Development bootcamp and passed its rigorous final assessment. Covalence alumni with this certificate are job-ready, entry-level Full Stack software developers with the skill and ability to quickly add value to any team or organization starting on day one. The curriculum they learned focuses primarily on end-to-end JavaScript, and each student learns how to build Full Stack web applications through multiple projects that require them to create foundational front-end websites and web apps using server-side technologies and back-ends with Node.js and Express while also creating their own custom application programming interfaces (APIs) and connecting to databases and querying data with MySQL. Alumni learn the basics of version control, website (and web app) deployment, working in teams through Agile (SCRUM) methodologies, and more advanced topics such as TypeScript and React Native. Certificates are only issued to students that successfully pass a final assessment: building a full stack application (front-end, back-end, API, and database) from scratch within 4 hours.
