Creating and implementing an effective leadership development program for our employees is essential to our growth and success as an institution. An effective leadership development program not only increases current leadership competency but provides a more visible, systematic way of identifying internal candidates for succession. LEA cohort members will receive certificates presented by Dr. Wilson and will be recognized at a college-wide reception. Most importantly, these CSM employees will be ideal candidates for the CSM Leadership pipeline.
LEA Objectives:
During the 8-month Leadership Development Academy, the cohort participants will be able to:
Discover and apply essential leadership practices to their current roles, as presented by prominent leadership experts and researchers
Consult with an executive coach to better transfer the knowledge and skills into their daily professional and personal lives
Articulate more clearly their leadership strengths and growth opportunities for the purpose of self-awareness and professional growth
Connect with and learn from other current and aspiring CSM leaders
