The ACISE credential is appropriate for examiners who have completed a minimum of three years' experience on the job with examination duties covering the IS area of B- or C-rated financial institutions or third-party service providers as defined by the FDIC InTREx Program, and service as Examiner-in-Charge on at least three examinations. Appropriate education comprising eighty hours of classroom training must be completed.
To maintain certification, ACISE credential holders must complete at least 40 hours of applicable continuing education during the three-year term of certification.
