Art Business Foundations

From record-setting evening auctions to the widespread presence of galleries and art fairs in major cities, the art world is more expansive than ever. Art Business Foundations defines the different institutions in both the commercial and non-profit sectors of the global art infrastructure and offers a deeper understanding of the methods and motivations that drive the business and viewership of art. This introductory course puts participants on the right track to operate with increased expertise in the international art market. The course includes an interactive live session exploring the current challenges and opportunities that the art industry is facing.
