eCOACH

Earners of the eCOACH credential have learned the essential practices of the coach approach to leadership and how to shift from problem-solver to facilitator-of-problem-solving to empower and inspire others. The earner has received this credential from eLeadership Academy, a leader in online leadership training that combines theory, practice, social learning, and cognitive science to achieve real-world results. Recipients of this credential have learned techniques for facilitating thinking and problem solving to focus on solutions, foster accountability, inspire action, and build confidence in others by holding them capable. Earning Criteria All eCOACH credential earners have undergone 8 weeks of online cohort-based training combining theory and practice, including 4 weeks of triad practice and 10 hours of workplace practice, and they have demonstrated their coaching for a mentor coach. Earners took part in live interactive webinars, completed workplace practice assignments, self-assessments, and weekly discussion forums with a cohort of learners. Every participant who completes the eCOACH program finishes with a Coaching Action Plan (CAP) to support their continued growth as a leader. eCOACH credential earners have learned: · Strategies to identify when to coach and when to manage, with effective models for applying each · How to embody a coaching mindset to build trusting relationships and create the conditions for effective coaching · Effective listening and questioning · How to use the cognitive science of coaching to generate shifts in thinking, creativity, problem-solving, forward movement, and sustainable change · The application of coaching skills through workplace practice and meetings with a mentor coach This credential can be used as a credit towards completing a Certificate in Applied Leadership, a comprehensive program that allows leaders to continue their training in several different areas of focus.
