Marc Brightman
TERMA Certified Executive Coach (TCEC) credential-holders are trained and experienced coaches. They have demonstrated knowledge and proficient application of the ICF Core Competencies, TERMA Code of Ethics, and definition of coaching. Earners show a commitment to high ethical standards and have demonstrated, through rigorous assessment, competence in using a variety of behaviors and skills in their work with clients. The TCEC must be renewed every 2 years.
Earning Criteria
• Completion of minimum 20 hours of ICF-aligned, coach-specific training delivered by TERMA.
• Completion of a minimum of 40 hours of strengths-based, coach-specific training delivered by Gallup.
• Certification is by invitation only and all earners must have association with TERMA for 36 months and have previously held a TERMA Certified Business Coach (TCBC) certification before becoming eligible for TCEC.
• Completion of at least 50 hours of on the job client-coaching experience since the start of their coach training.
• Completion of at least 100 hours of paid coaching since the start of their coach training.
• Completion of 10 hours of supervisory coaching with TERMA founder Brian Newman (PCC).
• Pass both knowledge and performance assessments at the TCEC level.
