Project Management for Instructional Design & E-Learning Development

The Project Management for Instructional Design and E-learning Development credential is a recognition of a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of managing instructional design and e-learning development projects in the corporate environment. To earn this credential, a recipient must demonstrate an understanding of the following competencies: 1.) Ability to define key project management terms and concepts. 2.) Identify the project management life cycle phases in relations to instructional design processes. 3.) Ability to explain the roles and responsibilities of project stakeholders. 4.) Demonstrate the ability to explain different project management approaches in instructional design including agile and traditional methods. 5.) Ability to initiate instructional design projects including establishing project teams, setting project objectives, identifying scope and deliverables, etc. 6.) Ability to plan instructional design and e-learning development projects including creating a project plan and schedule. 7.) Ability to execute, monitor, control and close instructional design and e-learning development projects To earn the credential, the recipient must complete all course work including an assignment. The assignment is designed to enable participants to put into practice what they learned in the course. This certificate is awarded to those who demonstrate a high level of understanding on the topic and a commitment to ongoing professional development in the area of corporate instructional design and e-learning development.
