Beyond Training: How to Incorporate Equity in Hiring Processes to Welcome Newcomers into the Workforce

Over the next three years, Canada will welcome 1.45 million newcomers, primarily in the skilled immigrant class. Newcomers bring diverse skills and experience and cultural and linguistic talents with them into the workforce. However, systemic barriers and bias within job postings and interview processes create unfair disadvantages for newcomers preventing entry into the workforce. This webinar provides guidance to organizations seeking to welcome newcomers into their workforce by applying an inclusion and equity lens.
