The exam covers topics such as Terms and Definitions, Overview, Importance, Procedures and Tools, and Safeguards for each of the 18 CIS Critical Security Controls.
Earning criteria:
To earn the Critical Security Controls Foundation certification candidates must successfully pass the following exam:
ITC-099: Critical Security Controls Foundation certification exam
A score of 70% or higher is required to pass the exam.
The ITC-099: Critical Security Controls Foundation is a closed-book and remotely proctored exam.
ITCERTS recommends that candidates have at least 6 months of work experience in Cybersecurity before sitting for the exam.
This certification is considered good-for-life and does not expire.
