Earners of the Information Security Incident Management Foundation (ISO/IEC 27035) certification have demonstrated foundational knowledge of the ISO/IEC 27035 standard. The exam covers topics such as Scope of the ISO/IEC 27035, Terms and Definitions, Objectives of Incident Management, benefits of a structured approach, Adaptability, Capability (Policies, Plan and Process, Incident Management Structure), Communication, and Documentation (Event Report, Incident Management Log, Incident Report, and Incident Register), Process (Plan and Prepare, Detect and Report, Assess and Decide, Respond, and Learned Lessons). Earning criteria: To earn the Information Security Incident Management Foundation (ISO/IEC 27035) certification candidates must successfully pass the ITC-095: Information Security Incident Management Foundation (ISO/IEC 27035) certification exam. A score of 70% or higher is required to pass the exam. The ITC-095: Information Security Incident Management Foundation (ISO/IEC 27035) certification exam is a closed-book and remotely proctored exam. ITCERTS recommends that candidates have at least 6 months of work experience in Information Security before sitting for the exam. This certification is considered good-for-life and does not expire.
