Earners of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 Foundation certification have demonstrated foundational knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0. The exam covers topics such as CSF Core (Functions, Categories, and Subcategories), CSF Core Functions (Govern, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover), CSF Profiles (Current Profile and Target Profile), Steps for creating and using a CSF Organizational Profile, CSF Tiers, Online Resources That Supplement the CSF (Informative References, Implementation Examples, and Quick Start Guides), Improving Cybersecurity Risk Communication and Integration, and Appendix A. CSF Core). Earning criteria: To earn the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 Foundation certification candidates must successfully pass the ITC-103: NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 Foundation exam. A score of 70% or higher is required to pass the exam. The ITC-103: NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 Foundation exam is a closed-book and remotely proctored exam. ITCERTS recommends that candidates have at least 6 months of work experience in Cybersecurity before sitting for the exam. This certification is considered good-for-life and does not expire.
