Advanced Leadership Program - Manager

The purpose of ALP-M is to help strengthen the Lowe’s leadership bench by delivering an immersive development experience that accelerates the capabilities of our key talent at the manager level. This experience contributes to the readiness of the manager population to take on roles of greater impact and responsibility more quickly in order to meet the current and future challenges of the Lowe’s retail business. ALP for Managers is a three-month cohort experience where a group of Managers from across the organization are brought together to learn, solve business problems, and grow capability as a Lowe’s leader. A variety of activities and methodologies are used including: • Curriculum: Virtual and in-person learning from faculty at Emory’s Goizueta Business School® and Lowe’s Executive & Leadership Development team • Leadership Assessments: A 360 and a Hogan Personality assessment through our vendor partner, Talogy • 1:1 Coaching: A full assessment debrief plus 1 additional coaching sessions • Business Project: An assigned Lowe’s-specific business project that culminates with Senior Leadership Team presentations
