Champions of diversity demonstrate the capacity for cultural self-assessment, are conscious of the dynamics of cultural interaction, and work effectively with people of different backgrounds. In this exploration, we go beyond “diversity” to emphasize the importance of inclusion, equity, and belonging in the workplace. In this workshop, participants will:
Analyze concepts and perceptions of inclusion, identity and diversity using a Growth Mindset.
Explore the impact of cultural beliefs, assumptions, and biases within the workplace.
Discuss impact of access and opportunity on equity.
Develop next steps to anchor learning and implement real change.
