2023 Global Teaching Dialogue

From July 18 – 19, 2023, the U.S. Department of State welcomed teachers, educators and global education experts online for its eighth annual Global Teaching Dialogue. Alumni of the Department’s Teacher Exchange Programs and other global education leaders shared best practices for globalizing curricula, implementing virtual exchanges, and learning from and sharing educational strategies with colleagues in other countries. U.S. Department of State officials spoke with the group and teachers conducted workshops on integrating global competence and international best practices across the K-12 curriculum. Attendees at this virtual event received information about U.S. Department of State exchange programs for teachers and youth, National Museum of American Diplomacy resources, and other strategies to help teachers bring the world into their classrooms.
