Art History: Egyptian Art to Pop - The Key Movements

Art history is more than names, dates, and movements—it’s about the unexpected connections that create its complex narrative. From Egypt’s mythic symbolism to Warhol’s pop sensibility, this course invites you to study major artists and examine key objects that illustrate and explain the unfolding of Western art history. As there is never a single way to interpret an art object, course lectures provide diverse contexts and ways of looking, guiding you toward developing an independent and confident approach to looking at—and finding meaning in—works of art. For those passionate about art, Art History: Egyptian Art to Pop, The Key Movements offers a solid education for how to analyze, interpret, and appreciate art.
