Introduction to Reflex

Brian Duplantier

The Introduction to Reflex workshop is designed to enable a teacher to get students up and running with Reflex immediately and to effectively monitor progress and coach students towards fluency. Educators discuss the importance of math fact fluency on future math achievement for elementary students. They gain an understanding of the importance of each of the three phases of a typical Reflex student session. Finally they will login to the site and learn to manage student accounts and review the individual and group reports. By the end of the session they are able to create classes, add students to those classes, and manage students’ assignments within Reflex as well as have a basic knowledge of the group and individual reports showing usage and fluency progress.
