Advanced Emergency Medical Technician - AEMT

The Birmingham Regional EMS System is accredited by the Alabama Department of Public Health Office of EMS (ADPH OEMS) to authorize Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) education courses in coordination with agencies and institutions within the BREMSS Region. Upon successful completion of an approved course, the Advanced EMT student will be eligible to sit for the NREMT AEMT certification exam.
