Lloyd's Maritime Academy: Certificate in Marine Warranty Surveying

Earners of this Certificate have gained the essential theoretical knowledge and practical procedures involved in conducting warranty surveys. They understand the role and meaning of different types of warranty clauses, the role of a marine warranty surveyor, and the reasons for and principles of condition survey reporting formats and presentation. They have studied towage and voyage approval, stowage, tie-down, carriage of yachts, risk assessments, offshore surveys, and heavy lifting operations. This course has been officially recognised as contributing to the Continuing Professional Development requirements of members of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST).
