AIGPE™ Certified Quality Function Deployment (QFD) Specialist

The AIGPE™ Certified Quality Function Deployment (QFD) Specialist masters the ability to understand customer requirements using the tool Quality Function Deployment. They can systematically translate requirements to the process technical requirements OR engineering characteristics. They play a critical role in constructing detailed and accurate operational definitions of customer requirements. They are also proficient in the planning process of new or redesigned products or services. They develop an innate ability to produce the four houses of Quality. Each certification candidate must 1) go through the AIGPE™ Quality Function Deployment Specialist Certification Training and 2) pass an examination that consists of multiple-choice questions that measure comprehension of the Body of Knowledge.
