Earners of the ITC-038: GDPR Foundation certification have demonstrated foundational knowledge of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This certification confirms that the professional has foundational knowledge of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The exam covers topics such as Concepts, terms and definitions (Personal Data, Consent, Data Controllers, Data Processors, Cross-border Processing, Data Subject, Personal Data Breach, Processing, Pseudonymization, Supervisory Authority), Principles, Applicability, Data Subject Rights, Breach Notification, Right to Access, Right to be Forgotten, Data Portability, Retention of Data, Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA), Privacy by Design, Data Protection Officer (DPO) and, GDPR fines. Earning criteria: To earn the ITC-038: GDPR Foundation certification candidates must successfully pass the ITC-038: GDPR Foundation exam - Foundational level. A score of 70% or higher is required to pass the exam. The ITC-038: GDPR Foundation exam is a closed-book and remotely proctored exam. ITCERTS recommends that candidates have at least 6 months of work experience in Data Protection before sitting for the exam. This certification is considered good-for-life and does not expire.
