Course Title: Central Lighting Inverter Systems
Course Description: This course is designed to educate designers on the need and the capabilities for Central Lighting Inverter Systems. It provides an overview of why inverter systems are a good alternative to traditional life safety unit equipment, and how they can be applied. Typical inverter sizes are also explored, illustrating a vast range of capabilities.
Objectives:
1. Participants will develop an appreciation for the need, benefits, and capabilities of central lighting inverter systems as life safety solutions.
2. Participants will obtain an understanding of how LED lighting has impacted the need for inverter systems
3. Participants will learn about basic operations, wiring, and installation of central lighting inverter systems.
4. Participants will learn how to properly size inverter systems around a given emergency lighting load.
