The College of Education Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design is awarded upon successful completion of two courses: EPOL 472 MTC (Instructional and Training System Design) and EPOL 483 MTC (Learning Technologies).
Courses include mastery of identification and application of the elements of a systematic design process, the language and terminology pertinent to the design of learning systems, and the major elements of instructional and learning system design models. Certificate completion also requires two hands-on projects to develop an e-portfolio and create a customized design plan for an organization based on a case study.
