Management System Auditing (ISO 19011) Foundation

Earners of the ISO 19011 Foundation certification have demonstrated foundational knowledge of the ISO 19011 Standard.

The exam covers topics such as terms and definitions, normative references, principles of auditing, managing an audit program (including establishing audit program objectives, determining and evaluating audit program risks and opportunities, establishing an audit program, implementing an audit program, monitoring an audit program, and reviewing and improving an audit program), conducting an audit (including initiating an audit, preparing audit activities, conducting audit activities, preparing and distributing the audit report, completing the audit, and conducting audit follow-up), and competence and evaluation of auditors (including determining auditor competence, establishing auditor evaluation criteria, selecting an appropriate auditor evaluation method, conducting auditor evaluation, and maintaining and improving auditor competence).


Earning criteria:
To earn the Management System Auditing (ISO 19011) Foundation certification, candidates must successfully pass the following exam:
ITC-094: Management System Auditing (ISO 19011) Foundation

A score of 70% or higher is required to pass the exam.

The ITC-094: ISO 19011 Foundation exam is a closed-book, remotely proctored exam.

ITCERTS recommends that candidates have at least six months of work experience in auditing before sitting for the exam.

This certification is considered good-for-life and does not expire.
